Heart Wrenching Poetry - If my Lord asks me

A man once came to Imām Ahlus-Sunnah, Ahmad bin Hanbal and asked him, "O Imām, what is your opinion on poetry?"

He replied, "Which poetry is this?" to which the man responded by reciting the following couplets:

إذا ما قال لي ربي اما استحييت تعصيني
If my Lord asks me, "Have you shyness in disobeying me?

وتخفي الذنب عن خلقي وبالعصيان تأتيني
You conceal your sins from my creation -- and with sins you come to me."

Imām Ahmad took these lines and repeated them over and over again, and wept profusely to such an extent that one his students said that he almost perished due to him crying so much.

"If my Lord asks me..."

إذا ما قال لي ربي اما استحييت تعصيني

If my Lord asks me, "Have you shyness in disobeying me?

وتخفي الذنب عن خلقي وبالعصيان تأتيني

You conceal your sins from my creation -- and with sins you come to me."

فكيف أجيبُ يا ويحي ومن ذا سوف يحميني؟

So how will I answer? O woe to me -- and who shall protect me?

أسُلي النفس بالآمالِ من حينٍ الى حيني

I keep averting my soul with thoughts of hope -- from time to time.

وأنسى ما وراءُ الموت ماذا بعد تكفيني

And I forget what is to come after death -- and what is to come after I am shrouded.

كأني قد ضّمنتُ العيش ليس الموت يأتيني

As if I am guaranteed life (eternally) -- and that death will not come to me.

وجائت سكرة الموتُ الشديدة من سيحميني

And when the severe stupor of death overtakes me -- who will protect me?

نظرتُ الى الوُجوهِ أليـس منُهم من سيفدينـــي

I looked at the faces; is there not from amongst them who will ransom me?

سأسأل ما الذي قدمت في دنياي ينجيني

I will be asked regarding what I have prepared in my life to save me (on the Day of Judgement).

فكيف إجابتي من بعد ما فرطت في ديني

Then how will I answer -- after I have neglected my religion.

ويا ويحي ألــــم أسمع كلام الله يدعوني

Woe to me! Did I not hear the Speech of Allāh inviting me?

ألــــم أسمع لما قد جاء في قاف ويسِ

Did I not hear what came in (the chapters of) Qāf and Yā-Sīn?

ألـــم أسمع بيوم الحشر يوم الجمع و الديني

Did I not hear about the Day of Gathering, the Day of Assemble and the Day of Judgement?

ألـــم أسمع مُنادي الموت يدعوني يناديني

Did I not hear the crier of death inviting me, calling me?

فيا ربــــاه عبدُ تــائبُ من ذا سيؤويني

So O my Lord, a slave (turning to you) I have repented -- so who then shall shelter me?

سوى رب غفور واسعُ للحقِ يهديني

Except a Lord extensive in forgiveness -- to the truth He will guide me.

أتيتُ إليكَ فارحمني وثقــّـل في موازيني

I have come to you (in repentance) -- so have mercy on me, and make heavy my scales (with good deeds).

وخفَفَ في جزائي أنتَ أرجـى من يجازيني

Poetry of Sheikh Jalaluddin Rumi rahimahullah

The follow is poetry of Sheikh Jalaluddin Rumi rahimahullah that I came across. I found it very nice;

You stepped on the ground on the earth,
Pregnant with joy, gave birth to infinite blossoms.
The cheering spread up to heaven,

The moon glanced... amazed at the stars.
You came suddenly and stole three things from me:
The patience of my heart,
The colour of my face,
And the sleep from my eyes.
Oh I bless the hand that no mind can conceive.
Everyone has someone: a friend, a love, some skill or work.
But I am alone with the dream of my beloved hidden in the corner of my heart.
The back of hope is bent by separation,
The hands of longing tied by cruelty,
But the lover never despairs.
For a committed heart, everything is possible.
The treasure I hold in my heart is the envy of all...
I swear to God none could be more joyous than me!
I hear about sorrow but it means nothing to me.
To live without you, is to be robbed of love...
And what is life without it?
To live without you is death to me, my love... but some call it life...

Poetry: Kill Them With Love

I found the following video quite amazing, it is poetry spoken by brother Boonaa Mohammed. It highlights how the character of a Muslim should be towards those who are hostile in an excellent poetic verses.

Show me a stranger and I'll show you a friend that you haven't met yet,
Plus any obstacle in the way of anything is usually one of the prices of success,
And people are more than numbers; to crack a smile is really no stress
Divide my time like economics, I love to say high and buy less
Multiply first impressions by everything you might have guessed
Prejudice takes time, but my time is business
And this just makes big dollars and cents
Why would you hate, when love just costs less
In fact the muscles it takes to make a frown,
Make more work than to just turn it upside down
But why do you hate it when I'm polite, can't stand when I'm sincere
Calling me all these names wondering why I'm still just standing here,
Mainly because your ignorance leaves me to believe that you really just need a hug,
And I've been unstoppable ever since I learned to kill them with love
I am a psychotic serial lover, seriously considering only complementing our mothers
Because wither you like it or not, I am your brother
A teddy-bear terrorist, chilling with my well-mannered crew
Yeah you a racist, but I'ma still hold the door open for you
Cause seriously dude, no need for the attitude
I aint made at you, I have bad days too
Here's my celly, let's talk, I'ma great listener too
Family driving you crazy, I know how they do,
I love kids, hit me up, I could be your babysitter too
Yeah boy, cause I'm nice like that
I'll even watch your car if you promise that you'll be right back
So relax and be cool, no point in lying to you,
I am a servant and my master sees all that I do
So tell me what you need dude, a dollar, here take two
Achooo, May Allah bless you, guide you and make things easy for you
This respect thing, it's just what I do
And its past tolerating, it's on the path of understanding and appreciating you,
So what you gonna do when the love comes for you
Insult my heritage, we both from Adam and Eve fool
Ahhh, snap, how you like that,
You gave me extra change and I gave it right back
I let people pass when they wanna switch lanes,
Cause if it was me, I hope they would do the same
You butchered my name, but it's A ok
It happens all the time, I won't correct you anyways
And it may sound strange, but I'ma be that change
Improve everyday, to prove rudeness is lame
I believe in modesty and trying to lower my gaze
And if everything is from above than everything is the same
I aint impressed by money, cars, clothes or fame
I am a Muslim, so the trinkets of the world don't mean a thing
I was taught that peace is not that absence of war
But peace, is a feeling that comes from remembering your Lord
So for the sake of peace, there is no point in hating me anymore
It's a big place; we can all live together in this world
I invite you all to join this Jihad of love
And see why fundamentalism still begins with fun
And if you don't agree, I won't even judge,
I just kill you all,
with the love

Poetry: It will all be alright in the end

It will all be alright in the end,
Your tears will begin to dry.
You’re life will be on the mend,
There will be no need to cry.

How many times have you been in pain,
To notice that sympathy seems to sound the same.
The clouds always seems to drizzle with rain,
Yet there is nobody to withstand the burden of blame.

The heart begins to cry, searching for someone to implore,
In every direction you walk, there seems to be a locked door.
The eyes begin to burn, a river of desperation wanting to trickle,
When loneliness becomes a companion, the mind becomes fickle.

Lift up your hands and use them as a key,
Cry, beseech, request – you will be showered in mercy.
Your Lord knows very well of your immense sadness,
If you do not ask of Him, it is your own madness.

How many a time before, have you lost all hope,
With feelings of despair, more than you can cope?
Yet He helped you then, and He helps you now,
By ways and means which left you asking how.

Use not your hands for sins but raise them to converse,
When you reveal the contents of your heart, you need not rehearse.
He hears what you ask for and sees what you make apparent,
You cannot hide your feelings, your heart becomes transparent.

Your tears will being to dry, when His light illuminates your life,
You will find an escape, you can bid farewell to your strife.
But first, recognise Him; let not your intelligence rot,
He was always caring for you, you were never forgot.

"Whoever fears Allah, He brings forth a way out for him, and provides him (with what he needs) from where he does not even imagine. And whoever places his trust in Allah, He is sufficient for him. Surely Allah is to accomplish His purpose. Allah has set a measure for everything." [Surah Talaq 65:2,3]

Poetry: Family

Dear to me are my family,
With them I live happily.

Whenever problems begin to appear,
They are the first to show their care.

I love my family more than a million words could ever say,
And our bonds are strengthened when we stand together and pray.

My best friends are my parents to whom I am in debt,
They are better than the tons of people that I have met.

My siblings make my heart blossom with immense joy,
We laugh when we remember the past and all the broken toys.

I still think about and miss those who have left,
How strange it is that pleasant memories leave us bereft.

Our families will be there for us before any old or new friend,
They love us unconditionally and will always have time to lend.

How foul are we to our families who only wish for our protection,
Yet we curse them and wish that we could have made the selection.

Be happy with who your mother, father, brother sister and family are,
And hold your tongue back before you utter words that will leave a scar.

Keep ties with those who break ties from you and be kind,
They may not know but you do, so do not walk around blind.

And if you still don’t understand the worth of those who inhabit your house,
Then you have lost all respect and have become even smaller than a mouse.

Ask the orphan with regards to the virtue of a family,
For he has nobody to live with happily.

Poetry: The Effect of My Sins

The Effect of My Sins

My soul has become isolated, buried in deep sorrow,
My heart has become wilted, searching for happiness to borrow.
My eyes have lost their lustre, no longer wanting to twinkle,
My hands have lost their strength, soon they will start to wrinkle.
My body has become weak, it is now something frail,
My skin has become blemished, I now look so pale.
My ears have become deaf, not bothered to hear advice,
My feet have become foolish, walking away from what is nice.
My tongue has become dry, failing to remember You,
My breath is limited, soon my lips will become blue.
My depression is a shadow, it clings to me and follows me wherever I may go,
My happiness is distant, like the measure of an arrow that emits from a bow.
I have become lonely, I find it hard just to smile,
I have become sad, my sins measure many a mile.
Hope in Your mercy is all that remains in my tattered heart,
You created me, You loved me, You knew me from the start...

Poetry: For Gaza

Is it justice when a child cries over the corpse of his mother?
And is forced to see the flesh stricken body of his brother?

So what crime is it then if he walks out with pebbles in his pocket?
Ready to relieve a heart of sorrow but only to be fired at by a rocket.

Where is the justice in having to be put to sleep by the silence of fear?
Knowing full well that any second a bomb may be thrown like a spear.

How can it be that death has replaced life as a source of rest?
As roads have been painted in red while the world continues to jest.

A stone contests a bullet, a boulder contests an airstrike,
What match is there between an armed tank and a bike?

So how can the sky be seen when it is garmented in smoke?
And the leaders of the Arab world take it all to be a joke.

Kings who have exchanged their brothers for wealth,
They sit lavishly on thrones and bargain their brothers health.

What then can be said about those who were thought to be of kin?
When it is they who remain passive and become the enemy from within?

We remember you and pray for you O bearers of sorrow,
We beseech Allah that He eases your tomorrow.

Your blood, honour, dignity and valour will never be forgotten,
We hope that you now have found peace in your garments of cotton.

Long live the people of Gaza, you are indeed the heroes of this nation,
We cannot take what you have taken, but we look at you with admiration.

May Allah Ta'ala grant Jannah to the people of Gaza. Ameen.

Poetry: Anger

I am not sad, unhappy or depressed. I am angry.
Veins pumping, blood boiling, it’s all raging within me.
Misunderstanding is my fuel and ignorance is my lighter,
It sets alight inside of me a fire ready to cause disaster.
A mind which has drunk from the glass of distress,
Has a heart ready to hurt all those who know less.
That’s why I am no longer sad, unhappy or depressed. I am angry.
I am stuck behind a thousand locked doors and I have lost the key.
I feel so lost without You, I am wondering around the banks of misguidance,
Where do I turn when every path is proving to be a hinderance?
A body that has lost the will to be a pillow,
All softness has been removed from me, I now feel hollow.
So what should a person do when all he can see is red?
And finds it hard to forgive people before he retires to his bed.
A body that circulates hate from within,
Every shout, strike, swear results in a sin.
My tears of anger are enough to burn the bonds of relation,
To the extent that old friends have suffered identity mutilation.
So what good is sight if it remains blinded from correct judgement?
If the mind is out of place and can’t make the right arrangement?
Now what does a man do when belligerence becomes an addiction?
And his hostile heart disappears as if it was a part of mere fiction?
The answer is between the choice of standing up and sitting down.
Between smiling and giving a frown.
It is between the light of Islam and the darkness of rejection,
Between the heat of a hostility and the coolness of ablution.
It is between a foul word and a Prophetic prayer,
Between the sound of madness and the trickle of a tear.
It is between loving and hating,
But truly... it lies between forgiving and forgetting.

Poetry: Everyone

Every dark, stoney pathway has a story to tell,
Of sins which entered its inhabitants into hell.
Every radiant, scentful meadow has a novel written upon it,
Of pious people in whose heart the light of guidance was lit.
Every wall in every house has a testimony to give,
Of how each and every one of its dwellers chose to live.
Every heart has the name of someone etched deep inside,
Of people who lived and smiled and of people who have died.
Every grave has a inhabitant with something to say,
Of eternal bliss or horror from every passing day.
Every book to be given that Day will be written in detail,
Of disobedience which had led one up a path bound to fail.
Every soul in the Fire will make an excuse and a great plea,
Of desperation and anguish and a wish to be set free.
Every soul in the Garden will be joyous at the rewards which are beyond measure,
And at the sight of their Creator, who will be looking down at them with pleasure.

May Allah Ta'ala make us from the people of Jannah. Ameen

Poetry: The Highest Example

The Highest Example

Truly the Faqih is a Faqih because of his actions
Not because of his articulated speech or saying
And likewise a leader is a leader because of his nature
Not because of his nation or his men
And likewise a rich man is a rich man due to his state
And not due to his possessions or wealth

Poetry: Daal Chawaal & Popcorn

Why must the world inform me of wrongdoings?
All I wanted was to eat my daal chaawal,
Why must I be told of matters beyond my control?
All I wanted was to eat my daal chaawal.
Now my eyes are damaged,
And the chaawal has gone cold,
Now my heart has become heavy,
And the chaawal has gone cold.
The world has passed by yet I am sat here,
While the daal has gone dry,
Virtuous deeds have been imprisoned in time,
While the daal has gone dry.
Minutes, hours, days, months go by and conversations remain the same.
I can’t eat my daal chaawal anymore now can I? It is out of date!

Lesson to learn: Stop talking rubbish and make use of your time, as a poet once said “Time is like a sword, if you do not use it, it will be used upon you.” Similarly, "A sign of Allah's abandoning a person is his useless chatter."

Why must the world inform me of wrongdoings?
All I wanted was to live a life gheebah-free,
Why must I be told of matters beyond my control?
All I wanted was to live a life gheebah-free.
Now my eyes are damaged,
And the popcorn gets warm,
Now my heart has become heavy,
And the popcorn gets warm.
The world has passed by yet I am sat here,
While the popcorn is eaten,
Virtuous deeds have been imprisoned in time,
While the popcorn is eaten.
Minutes, hours, days, months go by and conversations remain the same.
I can’t be gheebah-free now can I? Without being forgiven!

Lesson to learn: Stop doing gheebah and enjoying it as if it were a thrilling movie with popcorn! As Baari Ta'ala mentions, "And do not be curious (to find out faults of others), and do not backbite one another. Does one of you like that he eats the flesh of his dead brother? You would abhor it. And fear Allah. Surely Allah is Most-Relenting, Very-Merciful."

Poetry: My Heart Is So Small

My Heart is so small,

It is almost invisible...

How can you place so many sorrows inside of it?

'Look...' He answered

'Your eyes are even smaller yet they behold the world.'

Poetry - Your Mercy

I have heard that there is a river, an endless river
and that inside it flows Your Mercy? A river of Mercy..

And that whomsoever travels on this river ends up finding You?
And that whomsoever drowns, will be covered in Your Kindness?

Im confused now... I want both.

I continue to beseech and You continue to forgive,
You continue to bestow for aslong as I live.

What more can I say to the One who loves to forgive?

A doctor cannot be taught how to perform an operation by an ignoramus.
It is only his job to trust the doctor and hope he will be cured.
Like this, it is not my job to define mercy for you, I am blind to the word.
Yet I trust and I hope that You will not leave me void of it.

"Say (on My behalf), 'O servants of Mine who have acted recklessly against their own selves, do not despair of Allah's mercy. Surely, Allah will forgive all sins. Surely, He is the One who is the Most-Forgiving, the Very-Merciful.'"

A Description of Jannah (Qasidah Nuniyyah) - Ibn al-Qayyim Rahimahullah

Ibn al-Qayyim rahimahulllah said, in regards to the description of the Paradise and the delights that it contains:

And if you ask about its ground and its soil, then it is of musk and saffron.

And if you ask about its roof, then it is the Throne of the Most Merciful.

And if you ask about its rocks, then they are pearls and jewels.

And if you ask about its buildings, then they are made of bricks of gold and silver.

And if you ask about its trees, then it does not contain a single tree except that its trunk is made of gold and silver.

And if you ask about its fruits, then they are softer than butter and sweeter than honey.

And if you ask about its leaves, then they are softer than the softest cloth.

And if you ask about its rivers, then there are rivers of milk who's taste does not change, and rivers of wine that is delicious to those who drink it, and rivers of honey that is pure, and rivers of water that is fresh.

And if you ask about their food, then it is fruits from whatever they will choose, and the meat of whatever birds they desire. And if you ask about their drink, then it is Tasneem, ginger, and Kaafoor.

And if you ask about their drinking cups, then they are crystal-clear and made of gold and silver.

And if you ask about its shade, then a fast rider would ride in the shade of one of its trees for a hundred years and not escape it.

And if you ask about its vastness, then the lowest of its people would have within his kingdom and walls and palaces and gardens the distance that would be travelled in a thousand years.

And if you ask about its tents and encampments, then one tent is like a concealed pearl that is sixty miles long.

And if you ask about its towers, then they are rooms above rooms in buildings that have rivers running underneath them.

And if you ask about how far it reaches into the sky, then look at the shining star that is visible, as well as those that are far in the heavens that the eyesight cannot possibly reach.

And if you ask about the clothing of its inhabitants, then they are of silk and gold.

And if you ask about its beds, then its blankets are of the finest silk laid out in the highest of its levels.

And if you ask about the faces of its inhabitants and their beauty, then they are like the image of the Moon. And if you ask about their age, then they are young ones of 33 years in the image of Adam, the father of humanity.

And if you ask about what they will be hearing, then it is the singing of their wives from among the Hoor al-'Ayn, and better than that are the voices of the Angels and the Prophets, and better than that is the Speech of the Lord of the Worlds.

And if you ask about their servants, then they are young boys of everlasting youth who resemble scattered pearls.

And if you ask about their brides and wives, then they are young and full-breasted and have had the liquid of youth flow through their limbs; the Sun runs along the beauty of her face if she shows it, light shines from between her teeth if she smiles; if you meet her love, then say whatever you want regarding the joining of two lights; he sees his face in the roundness of her cheek as if he is looking into a polished mirror, and he sees the brightness from behind her muscles and bones; if she were to be unleashed upon the World, she would fill what is between the Heavens and the Earth with a beautiful wind, and the mouths of the creation would glorifiy, praise, and exclaim greatness, and everything between the East and the West would be adorned for her, and every eye would be shut from everthing but her, and the light of the Sun would be outshone just as the light of the Sun outshines the light of the stars, and everyone on the face of the Earth would believe in the Ever-Living, the One who Sustains and Protects all the exists.

And the covering on her head is better than the World and all that is in it, and she does not increase with age except in beauty; free from an umbilical cord, childbirth and menses, and pure of mucous, saliva, urine and other filthy things; her youth never fades, her clothing is never worn out, no garment can be created that matches her beauty, and no one who is with her can ever become bored; her attention is restricted to her husband, so she desires none but him, just as his attention is restricted to her so she is the sole object of his desire, and he is with her in utmost safety and security, as none has touched her before of either humans or Jinn.

And if you ask about the Day of Increase (in reward) and the visit of the all-Mighty, all-Wise, and the sight of His Face - free from any resemblance or likeness to anything - as you see the Sun in the middle of the day and the full Moon on a cloudless night, then listen on the day that the caller will call:

'O People of Paradise! Your Lord - Blessed and Exalted - requests you to visit Him, so come to visit Him!'

So they will say:

'We hear and obey!'

Until, when they finally reach the wide valley where they will all meet - and none of them will turn down the request of the caller - the Lord - Blessed and Exalted - will order His Chair to be brought there.

Then, pulpits of light will emerge, as well as pulpits of pearls, gemstone, gold, and silver.

The lowest of them in rank will sit on sheets of musk, and will not see what those who are on the chairs above them are given. When they are comfortable where they are sitting and are secure in their places, and the caller calls:

'O People of Paradise! You have an appointment with Allah in which He wishes to reward you!'

So they will say:

'And what is that reward? Has He not already made our faces bright, made our scales heavy, entered us into Paradise, and pushed us away from the Fire?'

And when they are like that, all of a sudden a light shines that encompasses all of Paradise. So, they raise their heads, and, behold: the Compeller - Exalted is He, and Holy are His Names - has come to them from above them and majestified them and said:

'O People of Paradise! Peace be upon you!'
So, this greeting will not be responded to with anything better than:
'O Allah! You are Peace, and from You is Peace! Blessed are You, O possessor of Majesty and Honor!'

So the Lord - Blessed and Exalted - will laugh to them and say:

'O People of Paradise! Where are those who used to obey Me without having ever seen Me? This is the Day of Increase!'

So, they will all give the same response:

'We are pleased, so be pleased with us!'
So, He will say:

'O People of Paradise! If I were not pleased with you, I would not have made you inhabitants of My Paradise! So, ask of Me!'

So, they will all give the same response:

'Show us your Face so that we may look at it!'

So, the Lord - Mighty and Majestic - will remove his covering and will majestify them and will cover them with His Light, which, if Allah - the Exalted - had not Willed not to burn them, would have burned them. And there will not remain a single person in this gathering except that his Lord - the Exalted - will speak to him and say:

'Do you remember the day that you did this and that?'

and He will remind him of some of his bad deeds in the Worldy life, so he will say:

'O Lord! Will you not forgive me?'

So, He will say:

'Of course! You have not reached this position of yours (in Paradise) except by My forgiveness.'

So, how sweet is this speech to the ears, and how cooled are the righteous eyes by the glance at His Noble Face in the Afterlife...

"Some faces that Day will be shining and radiant, looking at their Lord..." (Surah Qiyamah:22-3)

Poetry: To The One Who Bears Me In His Heart

To The One Who Bears Me In His Heart,

What chance do you have of finding me?

Do not look at them! Surely, you are the body that clothes my existence!

Have you become so ignorant that you help others and exile yourself?

That, my friend is your illness, your constant need to gawk into he or she,

You’ve been observing all else so hard that you have completely forgotten me,

The irony of it all is that I am clearer than that which you breathe,

Although I must say my dear, you have left me lonely since you started to admonish.

Nevertheless I am here! I always will be! Like a moth that harnesses itself to the light,

And when that light ceases to glow... synonymous to your insignificant life, I too will go.

But until then, I will be perched, sitting veiled upon your heart,

And when you gaze in the mirror, I advise you to scrutinise the ‘work of art’.

With love,
Your Faults.

Poetry: My Friend & Me

My best friend is always there for me,
He makes dua'a and Istigfaar just for me.
He yells out 'Salaam' when he sees me,
And will always smile as he embraces me.

My best friend always has time for me,
He will always ring and check up on me.
If I haven't spoken to him he will email me,
And if he hasnt seen me he will surely contact me.

My best friend always spends freely on me,
He does not think twice when feeding me.
When we are together he will look after me,
And when it's Eid he will buy gifts for me.

My best friend always prays in Jamaat with me,
He hasn't got time to bun a zoot with me.
He will always have good influence on me,
He will never say anything bad about me.

My best friend is most dear to me,
I stay around him because it is good for me.
I make more dua'a for him than he does of me,
I care for him because hes a part of me...

"A man will follow the religion of his friend, so becareful whom you make friends with." (Tirmidhi, Abu Dawud)

Poetry: Fajr

My battle for You has just begun,

A little time left till the Earth smiles at the sun.

The manipulative warmth of a close enemy,

My eyes are closed but my heart can feel the dichotomy.

I know it is time to stand forth as a slave,

But this pressure on my body is like immense tidal waves.

The Accursed begins to polish a perilous desire,

Its under a veil and it is quite evident it leads to the Fire.

A desire to slumber begins to overtake my power,

The feeling of defeat makes my heart feel sour.

It is in the darkness of that hour my soul remembers its time with You,

and with every bit of strength in my body, it sits up with my heart beating...

..Allah Hu..

Poetry: From Darkness to Light

Darkness & Light are the only true colours in this life,

One day we live in glimmering joy & other days in lonely strife.

Only the Creator can bring one 'From Darkness towards the Light',

And only His guidance lets one soar to new heights.

The Darkness of this world lies in our progressive sins,

Nothing but the Light of the heavens can help the confused Mankind and Jinn.

And thus your life will be written for you in black & white...

And successful will be those who were brought ...

'From Darkness to Light'

مِّنَ الظُّلُمَاتِ إِلَى النُّوُرِ

Allah is the Protector of those who have faith: from the depths of darkness He will lead them forth into light. Of those who reject faith the patrons are the evil ones: from light they will lead them forth into the depths of darkness. They will be companions of the fire, to dwell therein (Forever). [Surah Baqarah 2:257]

The Hypocrite

The hypocrite continues to pick out the deficiencies within myself,

His arrogance envelops me like the burning of incense in a confined room.

It increases in its smell as he increases in his hypocrisy and as I decrease in my speech...
