There was a sister who was in the same situation as you, she knew of someone who appeared to be very pious and prayed for marriage to him and she got it. Little did she know that inside he was the total opposite and didn't really practise what he preached. Your heart may want him but try and stick to the above prayer which specifically asks for a pious spouse and not a specific person, because whoever you get at the end of it will be the acceptance of that specific dua. If the person you are interested falls into that dua according to Allah then that is double for you. But just remmeber the line: be careful what you wish for.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7213307853642319428.post-70534078989671903302010-03-31T22:42:16.132+01:002010-03-31T22:42:16.132+01:00Assalamu Alaykum,

It is encouraged to ask Allah Ta'ala for a pious partner as is mentioned in the Qur'an, "O our Lord, give to us from our spouses and our children the coolness of our eyes."<br /> <br />So you should also make this dua, it is very powerful and beneficial. Also, if you are to make dua, then make dua for that which benefits you.<br /><br />Perhaps if you spoke to your parents and expressed your desire, they may be persuaded into adhering towards your request.Abu Huzayfahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16220558368592405794noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7213307853642319428.post-21173594570707604832010-03-31T17:09:56.765+01:002010-03-31T17:09:56.765+01:00if a sister wants to get married to someone who sh...if a sister wants to get married to someone who she thinks of as a potential husband, but due to family circumstances, she will not get married until 2-3 years later, is it ok for her to ask Allah for this man to soon give her a proposal since she doesnt really want to mention that she wants to marry him to anybody? there is no forbidden relationship between them, he is just well-known and liked by her family. is it wrong to ask Allah to bring her and him specifically together in marriage? i apologise this is not related to the article much. jzkAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
